I just love this garden. Creating this brought me back to my roots of creating fairy gardens: getting into the soil, creating a forest-like atmosphere and not filling the garden with too many frilly items. Here, we have a young boy fairy, who is obviously stricken with admiration and love for the young girl fairy, who is seated in the clearing of the “forest”. She is daydreaming about her “love” – the boy fairy and has no idea that he is nearby.
Bartholomew, the Bunny, is being introduced in this garden. He is so adorable and has decided to take a little trip via water in his canoe; only when the rain stopped, the water receded and he’s left rowing, while stranded on a boulder.
If you turn the garden around, you’ll find a bird cage and a bird bath, which has a cardinal sitting on its rim. You may also see the fairy footpath, which is made from round pieces of wood. Oh! Have you spied the treasure?
Fairies in Love is a sweet garden; so sweet, I’ll have to write a fairy story about it. Well, as the fairies say, “Please and thank you”. xoxo
